Reclink Australia is pleased to welcome the commitment from the Victorian State Government.

“We are extremely grateful for this commitment. Thank you to The Hon. Ros Spence MP, Minister for Community Sport, The Hon. Tim Pallas MP, Treasurer, The Hon. James Merlino MP, Acting Premier, and The Hon. Daniel Andrews, Premier, for your ongoing support of the Reclink Australia.” CEO Dave Wells said.

Reclink’s ActiVic program is an innovative social inclusion sports and recreation program that operates across nine locations in Victoria.

This significant funding will allow Reclink to continue its structured sports and recreation programs to assist many of Australia’s most disadvantaged communities through involvement in these activities.

“Victorians love their sport and this boost gives Reclink more opportunities to open their doors to more people in the community,” said the Hon. Ros Spence MP, Minister for Community Sport.

Reclink’s structured sport and recreation programs have been independently evaluated by La Trobe University, with proven results and improved life outcomes. Participants include those experiencing mental illness, family violence, homelessness, social isolation, gambling harm, unemployment, and in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. 77% of respondents reported a better outcome since participating with Reclink.
