Reclink Australia is delighted to announce the grand total of $38,000 raised from the recent Community Cups, hosted in Brisbane and Adelaide on Sunday 31st July.
Reclink Australia CEO Dave Wells was among over 950 people in attendance at the Everton Wolves Junior Football Club in Brisbane, where over $12,000 was raised in support of Reclink Australia.
Patrons witnessed a hard-fought victory by the Brisbane Lines over the Rocking Horses (pictured) before the stage was graced by local acts such as Bugs, Screamfeeder and Platonic Sex.
At Adelaide’s Norwood Oval, it was another famous win in 2022 by the ‘red and white’ brigade, this time as the Anchors prevailed over the Rockatoos.
650 people came through the gates for a traditional afternoon of live, local music and family friendly fun, which resulted in a grand total of $26,000 raised to support the ongoing work of Reclink Australia.
Reclink Australia would like to thank each and every one of the attendees, volunteers, staff and bands for their efforts in supporting and contributing to the success of #CommCup22 in Brisbane and Adelaide; and ultimately contributing to improving the lives of those experiencing disadvantage in the community.
We would also like to express our appreciation for the organising committees and, of course, the sponsors in both Adelaide and Brisbane for their incredible work and generosity before, during and after each event.
Please refer below to the links of each of the sponsors' Facebook pages from the Adelaide and Brisbane Community Cup events; and be sure to support those who have supported Reclink's work!
