Reclink Australia partners with Bush Mob in Alice Springs

Reclink Australia continues to grow its Work Readiness programs in the Northern Territory. In conjunction with our partners, Bush Mob, we have established a Kitchen Garden that utilises wicker garden beds that are suited to the arid land conditions.

The Kitchen Gardens project will grow herbs and seasonal vegetables which will be utilised by Bush Mob to support disadvantage families in Alice Springs.

Moreover, the project will provide Job Seekers with the opportunity to increase their skills in areas such as trade’s assistant, ground works, gardening, landscaping, horticulture and permaculture, basic carpentry, metal work and project administration.

The project will create a focal point for community engagement and the additional the knowledge that is acquired by the participants will benefit the broader community.

We look forward to keeping you up to date on this project.
