With over 9,000 people welcomed through the gates, all money raised from both attendance and activities across the course of the day will be distributed towards the critical ongoing delivery of Reclink’s programs throughout Australia to those most in need.

Crowds flocked to enjoy another thrilling match between the Rockdogs and Megahertz, with a thrilling draw the end result meaning everyone was rightfully dubbed a ‘winner’.

The game itself was interspersed with memorable stage performances from bands Whistle & Trick, The Vovo’s, Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks, Teether & Kuya Neil and Floodlights.

Many enjoyed the range of family and sporting activities available, as well as food trucks and bars operated by generous supporters such as The Gasometer, The Tote and Gum Bar.

Reclink Australia would also like to pay particular acknowledgement to Gary Maas MP, who tossed the coin prior to the game, as well as Adam Bandt MP for presenting the Reclink Community Cup to the captains of both teams as joint winners of the 2024 trophy.

Reclink Australia looks forward to continuing to work with the government and ministers on ensuring the long-term viability and success of the Reclink Community Cup; which ultimately provide life-changing programs and opportunities for disadvantaged members of the Victorian community.

The Reclink Community Cup was as usual a testament to the spirit of unity and camaraderie that transcends the game itself, reminding us all of the power of sport to bring a community together.

We extend our gratitude to all the staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this day possible. We are grateful for your invaluable contribution and for helping make the Reclink Community Cup such a fantastic day each and every year.
