Hobart Reclink Community Cup strikes a chord

The Hobart Reclink Community Cup returns in 2025 for it’s 9^th year on August 24, championing average footy and great live music – this time with a unique Tassie twist.

Part of a series of events held across the country, the Hobart Community Cup is a family-friendly day out featuring an entertaining footy match between the Van Diemen Dogs (Tasmanian musicians) and the Ramonas (a squad of local media, politicians, actors and other various hangers-on).

Reclink is proud to welcome two new supporters on board, two massive names in music and sport in the Tasmania Football Club and Fender.

This unique partnership has resulted in a special Tasmania Devils and Fender collaboration, with the production of a one-of-a-kind Devils Fender Telecaster® guitar.

With only one Devils x Fender guitar available, punters will be able to place their bids online from today, with all funds raised going straight back into Reclink’s community programs across the state.

Hobart Reclink Community Cup Chair Rachel Burke says it’s unique opportunity for fans.

The 2025 Hobart Reclink Community Cup will be held at Queenborough Oval in Sandy Bay on Sunday August 24. Gates open at noon. Tickets are available via Oztix.
