Reclink Australia joins Australian Sports Commission’s Play Well Affiliates Program

Reclink has had a long-term partnership with the Federal Government to deliver the Reclink National Program which has engaged more than one million participants over 12 years. Becoming a Play Well Affiliate is a natural progression of this partnership.” said Dave Wells, Reclink Australia CEO.

The Play Well Affiliate Program brings together organisations outside of the traditional sporting system to collaborate on delivering inclusive, safe, and accessible opportunities for sport and recreation.

With over 30 years’ experience delivering sport and recreation programs to people experiencing disadvantage, Reclink brings a unique community-based approach to supporting and improving physical and mental health outcomes.

Reclink’s work is made possible through ongoing support from government, corporate and philanthropic partners. This includes initiatives like an ASC Play Well Participation Grant, which Reclink has received to expand inclusive opportunities and increase physical activity across communities experiencing high levels of disadvantage.

As an Affiliate, Reclink looks forward to contributing to shared initiatives, knowledge exchange, and projects that build the capability of the sport and recreation sector to engage those most at risk of missing out on the well documented benefits.
