Reclink Australia are excited to announce that the Reclink Australia Western Australian team has been selected as a recipient of this year’s Telethon7 Perth Trust.
“Telethon is such a pivotal part on the WA Community, the incredible work they do and funds they raise to help kids across the state can’t be understated.
"We are incredibly fortunate to be a part of the Telethon family here in WA to provide sport and recreation for disadvantaged youth in our community.
"This funding will allow our WA team with the support of the WACA - Western Australian Cricket Association to provide Cricket programs to disadvantaged young people, creating new opportunities for participants to learn new skills in an environment that is safe and inclusive whilst promoting social inclusion and increased wellbeing.
"We can’t wait to enrich the lives of young people across Perth and Peel,” said Kieran O’Connor, WA State Manager.
"Through this project, we will collaborate with various local schools, community groups, service providers and WA Cricket to provide pathways for disadvantage youth to learn the skills of Cricket and ultimately have the opportunity to join Cricket programs."
Congratulations to everyone involved in this wonderful initiative!
